What will the US Education System be Like in 2030?

 The US Education System is highly regarded across the world. The approach to schooling is quite inventive and student-centric across the states and school districts. Around the age of 6, kids start elementary school and progress into high schools, first grade through twelfth. Students then advance into higher education which is college. It must of no surprise that 1 million students came to the US to pursue higher education in the academic years 2019-20 alone. 


Progressive methods employed here are acknowledged the world over. Talking about the world, nearly everything about it is changing so rapidly isn’t it? Let’s thank technology and ourselves. Ourselves because how well and how fast we have grasped it. It is fair to say, we are still in the early stages of the 21st century and yet, the radical shift that we have witnessed is so massive when we one considers how we have evolved in the larger history.


Coming back to the US education system and how it is going to be in 2030, it is safe to expect an overhaul just the same way mobile devices have taken over the landlines. By the way, let’s take a moment to acknowledge the phones, yeah?

Schooling experience in 2030 will have dynamic learning environments comparable to today's coworking spaces . Quite naturally, kids born in this decade will have a curriculum and teaching methodology that is distinct from the fundamentals of recent history. And undoubtedly, the future of learning is going to be a lot more experimental and project-based in nature. Let’s assume Mike is a high school student. He has an impressive record in Math, not so much in science and shows much promise in athletic events. He now has a greater chance for higher success through life, teachers are proud and his parents are naturally quite happy.. Basically, everyone is winning.

Learning technology and AI is going to simplify so many things for the students as well as teachers. While it may take a month just to read its deeper impact, personalization and responsiveness are the golden keys in context.


Personalization: Artificial intelligence in education will equip students as well as teachers to learn and improve from their previous data. Suppose Mike is entering into high school and is a bit torn about which subjects to specialize in. AI by virtue of its nature helps provide a convincing and intelligent suggestion by quickly analyzing his grades and other metrics from his elementary schooling. While that being a broad example, the usage and effectiveness of AI is much greater and detailed. 


Responsiveness: We all have been in situations where we have slept over a doubt and forgotten it at times.
